Copernicus

Copernicus (www.copernicus.eu) is an Earth observation programme by the European Commission and the European Space Agency. It uses a family of Satellites, called Sentinels, to continuously monitor different aspects of the Earth and its atmosphere. The Sentinel-2 mission, consisting of two identical satellites (Sentinel-2A & Sentinel-2B) provides high-resolution images, which are publicly accessible via the Copernicus Open Access Hub (scihub.copernicus.eu).
